DEVELOPING OUR SPIRITUAL ROOTS.
Growing up as a child, my parents always brought us to church on Sunday. The children would have to attend Sunday school classes. We were taught lessons on Prayer, Moses and the red sea, Noah and the building of the ark, and Jesus with his twelve disciples.
Jesus often taught people in the villages where he and his disciples often visited, the importance of prayer. I definitely believe and exercise prayer as my early morning ritual, along with bible study. I call it my spiritual nourishment.
In the book of Matthew 5:9-15. In verse nine, it starts with Jesus saying; After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever, Amen.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neihter will your Father forgive your trespasses.
On Sundays only, I will be publishing bible stories on topics related to Jesus's teachings on many different subjects. Give me a thumbs up if you enjoy these lessons from the bible. Developing our spiritual roots!!!!
