What is biblical faith? Biblical faith is when we put our trust and hope in the word of God. In the book of Hebrews 11:1 says; Now Faith is the assurance, the confirmation, the title deed of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality. Faith preceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.

Furthermore, it says in Hebrews 11:6, But without faith it is impossible to please God. For whoever would come near to God must believe that God exists and that he is the rewarder of those that earnestly and diligently seek him.

Jesus was teaching a lesson on faith to his disciples in the book of St. Mark 11:22; And Jesus answering saith unto them, have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Therefore, I say unto you, whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. So we can see here the importance of having faith in God. Prayer and faith are a powerful combination in the Kingdom of God.

Wherever you see faith mentioned, prayer usually follows. In the book of Philippians 4:6 says; Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Going back to our spiritual roots will require a daily commitment to prayer, and reading God's word so that we can build our faith in God, because without faith and prayer, it's impossible to please God. I make sure that I start my day at 5am with prayer and the reading of God's word to keep my faith strong and nourished daily.

This is my daily regimen of how I start my workdays, Monday-Friday. I was raised and taught by my parents to put God first in everthing that you do. In the book of Joshua 1:8, Moses was teaching his protege Joshua the importance of keeping God's law.

In verse eight it states; This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have (good success)!
